Born in Middlesbrough, England, Mark hails from a musical family. His experience spans 20 years in Showbusiness singing regularly and composing.

At the age of 7 he started Guitar lessons after a family friend named "Alvin Stardust"
bought him a guitar !
Around the same time Mark started dancing lessons, learning Tap and Modern  at the Ella Hardy Dance school in the North East of England.

Mark started to accompany his Mum on Stage."Rusty Wardell" was a former member of the "Paper Dolls" who had hits in the sixties - one of which was "Something here in my heart"  Mark would sing harmonies and play the guitar with other band members at every venue where she was booked.

Branching out, Mark sang and worked in America for a short time playing in Bands, writing and living in Chicago, USA.

Gaining contracts to work in Hotels and  Cruise ships throughout Europe Mark has a wealth of  Cabaret experience.

Mark was signed to CBS/Bernard Theobald / Dickson Productions for his own
composition "Up the Amazon" which was released in the UK. Relocating to London Mark signed to a West End Agent called "Paul Telford Management" and soon after he gained TV roles such as:   "Crimewatch": Director Tim Knatchbull  (BBC)  and Childrens Film : The Dark Season (BBC) wriiten by Russell T Davies and starring Kate Winslet.  

Mark has worked with acclaimed Songwriter and Producer "Rob Davis" (Spiller/Kylie Monogue/Cathy Dennis). Gaining production experience with DJ's in London Mark formed a colaboration and released a House Track under the "Product Records" Label which was a favourite on the Club scene and promoted by Kiss FM.

After auditioning for the German version of "Return the the Forbidden Planet"

Mark beat off 300 hopefulls to land the Swing role as :
"Cookie/Navigation officer/Lieutenant/Captain and Ariel"

In 2010 Mark worked on Cruise Ships and in Musical Theatre also writing various songs for corporations e.g. Berlikomm and German celebrities e.g Lou Richter. In a collaboration, Mark has produced and developed a Musical called "Powerdome" which toured briefly in Germany and was produced into an Audio-Book.


Writing and Producing songs for the commercial market has become second nature to Mark.

Producing his own tracks with support from co-producer Dennis Moody and Bulgarian Singer "Petia", Mark gained his first No. 1 (2005) in Eastern Europe.

Since 2005 Mark is officially the English ambassador for the children's foundation "Bridge of Hearts". He's written songs for the foundation and helped bring on board celebrities e.g. Lucy Hawking, Bob Geldof and "The Zimmers"  who have themselves been honoured by the foundation.

 

In 2015 Mark joined the P&O Britannia Cruise Ship on it's maiden voyage from Southampton to Madiera.

2017: "It's all over the world" Played on Radio Lancashire, UK. New Dancefloor track " Dirty Dance"
